Since 2007, Viola Gardens has pioneered transformative garden spaces in Los Angeles County. Our women-owned firm, led by Jessica Viola, specializes in drought-tolerant, ecologically sustainable landscape design and build. Combining over two decades of expertise with regenerative approaches, our in-house design and build team sets us apart in the industry. Focused on creativity and sustainability, Viola Gardens leads by creating captivating outdoor landscape experiences.

 

  • Employing the principles of environmental design, Viola Gardens approaches each project with the intent of creating a space that uniquely suits the personality and lifestyles of our clients, exists in harmony with the architecture of the space, is ecologically responsible, restorative and functional, and ultimately creates the conditions for unfolding beauty, over and over, in time.

  • We are a full-service landscape team, providing assistance with conceptuatlization and design, demo, irrigation, hardscape, softscape, lighting, maintenance and total installation.

  • We consult on lighting components with client and technician and overee installation. We can also facilitate installation of solar panels and integration in landscape.

  • We provide complete irrigaiton services, from system renovations and new valve installation to existing system adjustments and conversions to drip and grey water. We also can design and install ponds and water features.

  • We provide full-service hardscape installation, from demolition to installation of pathways, patios, retaining walls, berms, swales, dry river beds and more. We work wtih all materials, including flagstone, brick and mortar, urbanite, decomposed granite, pea gravel, marble, river rocks and boulders.

  • We provide monthly, seasonal and project-based fine gardening services, which include basics like lawn maintenance and hedging, as well as seasonal pruning, edible garden maintenance, feeding, soil amending, mulching and cleanup.

  • We specialize in hand-crafted art planters, integrating recycled glass, wood, succulents, crystals, natural elements and unique containers. We think of our container designs as living pieces of art. We also provide flower arrangments and edible container arrangments on request.
